This policy describes what happens to information when you visit Ibomtv at ibomtv.app. It is written to describe the site as it actually operates today, not as a generic template.

The short version

This site has no user accounts and asks you forno personal information. There is no contact form, no sign-up and no comment section.

What is collected automatically

Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider, and that provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. Those logs typically include:

• the browser and operating system reported by your device
• the page requested and the time of the request
• the referring page, if you arrived from a link

This data is generated and held by the hosting provider for security, abuse prevention and infrastructure purposes. It is not used to build a profile of you, it is not sold, and it is not combined with anything else to identify you personally.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. It is used to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and how they found the site. It is not used to identify you personally.

Google Analytics collects, among other things:

• an approximate location, derived from your IP address
• your device type, browser and operating system

• whether you are a new or returning visitor

Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The data is held by Google and processed under Google's own privacy policy. It is not sold, and it is not combined with anything else to identify you by name.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, typically named_ga and _ga_<id>. They store a randomly generated identifier used to recognise a returning browser, and they usually expire after two years. Apart from these, this site sets no cookies of its own.

The site does store one thing in your browser's local storage: if you switch between the light and dark appearance, that choice is saved under the name theme so the site looks the same next time. It is not a cookie, is never transmitted anywhere, and holds nothing but the wordlight or dark. Our cookie policy lists everything stored in your browser in one place.

Advertising

This site intends to carry advertising served byGoogle AdSense. Advertising is how the site is paid for; there is no subscription and no charge to read.

Opting out changes nothing about how the site works for you. Every page remains fully readable.

Pages on this site may link to destinations operated by other people. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site, governed by their privacy practices, not these. This policy covers ibomtv.app only. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, what other sites collect.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Since the site collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing held about a child to remove. If you believe otherwise, contact us and it will be investigated.

Your choices

There is no account to close, no mailing list to leave and no profile to delete, because this site holds none of those things. To stop analytics collection, use one of the opt-out methods above. For data already held by Google, requests are handled through Google directly, since we cannot reach into their systems on your behalf.
